A trip photographed with the compact and mighty Olympus EM1ii.

I carried this particular camera because I knew we would be spending a lot of time in the sandy beaches of Gran Canaria and the 2 lenses I carried with me can prevent and from creeping inside the camera. Don’t get me wrong, the sand does manage to stick everywhere else and gets caught on every nook and cranny of the camera and lenses. But, as expected, no sand inside the camera !

All this talk about sand is great, but what really blew me away on this island was the mountains! Since this is a volcanic island, we came across a lot of stunning rock formations and those are the photographs I would like to begin with followed by the sea and sand.
