Tübingen is a city in southwest Germany and it is a short train ride away from Stuttgart. I also is home to of Europe’s oldest universities and has a big student population.
I decided not to carry a digital camera to Tübingen and carried a went with the Pentax 645 which is a medium format film camera. Together with a Pentax 67 75mm and a Pentax 645 35mm lens with some Black and White ISO 400 film,I had a tank of a system to lug around the walking trip around the city.
It is colourful and gorgeous city, and at one point I was annoyed with myself for not carrying any colour film, but after I got the negatives and scans from the lab, I was overjoyed with the results. The photographs look timeless to me, and considering that this is one of the oldest university towns in Europe, they give you an impression of what it may have looked like in the past.
